Voor de tweede keer organiseert de Section of Professional Associations (SPA) van de International Council on Archives (ICA) het Filmfestival on Archives and Recordmanagement. Het thema is 'belangenbehartiging' (advocacy). Het festival vindt plaats tijdens het ICA congres in 2019.
Tijdens de eerste editie van het festival in 2016 sleepte het Regionaal Archief Rivierenland de publieksprijs in de wacht met de film Rens in het archief. Zou het ook in 2019 een Nederlandse inzending lukken om er met een prijs vandoor te gaan?

SPA roept archiefinstellingen en -organisaties op om films in te sturen en te zorgen voor een spannende competitie. “Has your institution or organization produced a film to communicate the value of records and archives? We all know what an important role archivists and records managers play in our society, but we need to tell the rest of the world.”
