What is the Mission of the Training Programme Advisory Group (TPAG)?
Are you interested in joining the newly announced Training Programme Advisory Group (TPAG)? ICA’s Programme Commission is currently looking for candidates who want to join this new advisory group and help advise the Chair and ICA’s Training Officer on the goals, content and delivery of ICA’s training offering. This Advisory Group will be responsible for making decisions and developing the strategy for the Training Programme.
What are the TPAG’s goals?
The Training Programme Advisory Group will work to ensure that the Training Programme:
Reflects and delivers ICA’s strategic goals as detailed in the 2020 Strategic Review
Supports and fulfils PCOM’s goals (Raising Awareness, Influencing the Development and use of New Technologies, Building Capacity in the Records and Archives Profession)
PCOM intends to continue its focus on the goals set in the PCOM Strategic Plan 2018-2020
Maintains and improves the standard of ICA’s training offering
Candidates should write to ICA’s Training Officer, Margaret Crockett at crockett@ica.org outlining their relevant experience and competencies and explaining why they wish to serve on the Group. They should also include a brief bio and provide their ICA membership number. The candidates must be either a paid-up Individual Member (student, digital or full) of ICA at the time of application, or an institution with ICA membership (in good standing).
The deadline for receipt of proposals from candidates is 7 April 2022 at 23:59 CET.
